The Strong, Carlisle & Hammond Company was found circa 1902 as a machine tool and supply company with an emphasis in woodworking. The company was acquired by White Consolidated Industries, Incorporated in 1956. On the title page is a pink stamp that reads, "Moore Dry Kiln Company." The Moore Dry Kiln Company was founded by Lafayette Moore in 1879.
