Pages are very clean and intact except for light age toning and the occasional faint mark from a paper clip. Covers are clean and intact except for light to moderate age toning, a small closed tear measuring 1/4" from the fore-edge on front, and a few faint marks from paper clips. A Very Good copy. "Reprinted from American Magazine, New Series, Vol. I, No. 4, pages 186-190, July, 1906." An anonymous physician's instructive and matter-of-fact letter to his son, in college, about venereal diseases. The doctor briefly addresses a number of topics in his letter. Among them, he cautions his son against reading quackery about sexual health, to avoid prostitutes, and explains the consequences of gonorrhea, chancroid, and syphilis and how they negatively impact one's physical health and quality of life..
