Arthur Upson (1877-1908) was an American poet. In 1906, Upson received his degree from the University of Minnesota and became an instructor there that same year. The prominent novelist Sinclair Lewis commended Upson in an editorial obituary by comparing him to John Keats and Thomas Chatterton. The following poems are in this book: "After a Dolmetsch Concert," "The Earth-Errand," "'Vers la Vie,'" "Phantom Life," "'At the Hill's Top Bides Love,'" "Love's Patience," "A Motive Out of Lohengrin," "My Song Must Not Forsake Me," "The Lake," "Absence and Presence," "A Song of Love and Your Dreams," "The Mystery of Beauty," "The Tragic Winds," "To a Picture of My Mother as a Girl," "Song of Agamede (From 'The City')," "The Sobbing Woman," "The Incurables," "Chorus (From 'The City')," and "Arlington." Thomas B. Mosher (1852-1923) was an American publisher who is noted for his contributions to the private press movement. Mosher's career saw a number of published titles, 384 in total, which covered a variety of subjects by prominent authors including Robert Louis Stevenson, Elizabeth Barrett Browning, Matthew Arnold, and John Ruskin..
