The boards are a tad shelf-rubbed and marked. The top and bottom edges of the spine are worn and beginning to tear and fray, while the spine itself is rather marked and discoloured. This does not affect the gold gilt, which remains bright. Internally, the first and last few pages are tanned, and there is sporadic foxing along the edges of the pages throughout, although it is heaviest at the beginning and end of the book. Aside from this, the pages are crisp, clean and neat, and there are no other markings or inscriptions. Altogether tightly bound, however, a tad cocked.. Book Condition: Very Good. Binding: Hardcover. Ex-library book. The boards and edges of the spine are shelf rubbed, edge worn and marked. The spine is somewhat discoloured and the corners of the boards are slightly knocked inwards. Internally, there are multiple library stamp markings, but no sleeves or pockets. The front end page also has a previous owner's bookplate pasted at the bottom. There are blue ink numbers on all of the first few pages, ending on the title page. The pages within are clean and complete. It remains tightly bound and presents well for its age..
