Daniel Webster (1782-1952) was an American politician who served as the 14th and 19th Secretary of State, a United States Senator from Massachusetts, and a U.S. Representative from New Hampshire, among many other distinguished roles. In this pamphlet, Webster upholds his opposition to the U.S. participating in the War of 1812 and looks to George Washington and the founding days of American government for how to protect American interests and democracy..
